Where hospital or day treatment is needed, your specialist can coordinate an appropriate pathway through Northern Private Hospital, Northern Hospital Epping (Northern Health) or another Melbourne service. Northern Private Hospital offers day chemotherapy, while Northern Health’s Oncology and Medical Day Unit provides outpatient cancer, haematology and infusion treatments. The location recommended depends on your care needs and the relevant hospital arrangements.
We welcome referrals from GPs and other treating clinicians. Please include the reason for referral, relevant history, medications, serial blood results and any histology or imaging reports, together with your contact details and provider number.
Referrals are triaged by the clinical team. For an urgent assessment, mark the referral “URGENT” and call us directly so it can be brought to the appropriate specialist’s attention.
